Awesome place to stay! Way more space than I thought, 2 minute walk from downtown Berlin, and really nice large patio area! We stayed during the hottest week of the year so far and the AC kept it cool! Host was very friendly; would love to stay again!

We stayed at Kelly's home in Berlin, MD for a 3-night Mother's Day weekend trip. We appreciated Kelly's responsiveness to communication, the comfy beds, lots of hot water for showers, tons of space, smart TVs in every bedroom, giant dining table, and close proximity to the Berlin Main Street. Kelly was a very accommodating host and checkout was a breeze! Highly recommend staying here!

Stayed 2 nights with 5 adults and a small dog. The location was perfect for our plans to visit Ocean City and Assateauge as it was a 15 minute drive to both. Space was plentiful, although perhaps not quite as luxurious as the photos look. It\'s definitely an old house and the quality of some of the furinutre, including the guest bed I slept on was poor. The property is run by a realty company so it was less personal than other vrbo experiences I\'ve had. Nevertheless, they were very responsive the couple of times I need to reachout. The first time was to get in because I did not see the email they sent (not from vrbo) with check-in instructions. The second time was due to some lights not working and they sent someover over right away even though it was the evening already. Overall, it was a good value for the location and amount of space.

We very much enjoyed staying at 102 Washington Avenue. The O'Brien clan was gathering in remembrance of one of its members who passed away a year ago and was a long term resident of Berlin. He loved the town and watched it change from the early 80s to the “Coolest Small Town." The home provided us with a wonderful atmosphere to visit, gather and have what some might call an Irish Wake. Sheppard's Realty was very helpful and accommodating to our needs, especially since we brought our little Dachshund along with us. Please thank all involved.

The location is very walkable to downtown Berlin and made driving to Assategue Island and Ocean City super easy. It was awesome how close the house is to downtown restaurants and bars (which is helpful because parking in downtown Berlin can be a challenge). House is huge - would be great for 6+ adult, but do have to recognize the house is older and there is one bathroom for the two guest rooms upstairs (a bathroom is connected to the master bedroom and there is another toilet on the ground level). Backyard worked great for our dog, but we did better walking him around the neighborhood. The front yard is a super cool space; but we didn’t use it much because of the heat / humidity.

This is truly a gem of a place in “the coolest small town in the US”. The home has a historic feel with personality and heart. We loved the slightly creaky wood floors, beautiful quirky details, and cozy, family friendly surroundings. The music room was a favorite spot to relax and listen to a vinyl record. This is a dog-friendly home (why we chose it initially) and it shows - our husk greatly enjoyed his private doggie-door accessible yard and cool lounging spots. The location is perfect - a few minutes walk from downtown Berlin restaurants and the original Island Creamery, and the grocery store is a mile away. Our kids also loved the big playground and park a block away - perfect for anyone traveling with littles. This is definitely our new favorite place for small family trips to Assateague/OC.
