Then Whitehorse is just down the street which has basketball courts, walking trails and a large pavilion that holds plenty of free family events throughout the summer. If you are a golfer you may pay to go to the community golf course, or if you want to swim there are five pools to choose from including an indoor pool for a daily fee. If you want to go to the beach check out the Ocean Pines own beach club area in Ocean City between 49 and 50th street. There is plenty of free street parking in this area too! Just outside Ocean Pines to the right-you have Windmill Creek Winery and the town of Berlin. Dubbed ‘America’s coolest small town’. To the left is Ocean Downs Casino and Racetrack as well as shopping on route 50 all the way to the beach with all the large retailers most people know. Finally, if you want to go to see the wild ponies of Assateague Beach we are only about 10 minutes away!
